What Is A Credible Source?: Highly Prescriptive

This guide is created to assist students with knowing how to determine a credible source.

Suggestions

In the highly prescriptive model you could use one of the generally or moderately prescriptive models mixed with customized instruction or simply use customized instruction on its own.

You can arrange for a librarian to teach a library skills session to your students that is customized to your class syllabus or assignment. The session can take place in the library (30 students max) or in your smart classroom and usually lasts 60-90 minutes.

Another option is to request a customized LibGuide such as the one you are currently viewing. Once again, it would be constructed to meet the needs of your specific course or assignment.

You can request either option by contacting a librarian at the library by calling 740-725-6254.
