Getting Access

When you are in the library using library computers, you have access to as many resources that we can provide you through OhioLINK and University Libraries.

When you are in the labs at MTC or using the wireless, you will want to start at the OhioLINK website (www.ohiolink.edu ). If you use this guide to access databases, you will need to sign in for access. Access is restricted to the resources at OhioLINK and the library catalog.

If you are coming in off-campus, you can come to this guide and access resources we have listed or go directly to the OhioLINK website(www.ohiolink.edu). You will need to sign-in for off-campus access either way. Access is restricted to OhioLINK resources and the library catalog.

To sign-in for access, click on the off-campus sign-in link on the OhioLINK website (www.ohiolink.edu)  and choose Marion Technical College. Then select the Marion Technical College list, select second listing for Academic Search Complete (has an open lock), select your institution again, put in your MTC login information, complete two factor login then you are ready to do research. The last thing to do is select advanced search to put in your search statement.  If you have problems with access, contact the library (740-725-6254)
