During my time in Berlin, I was able to visit the Kreuzberg museum. For the most part, the exhibits were in German, but I was thrilled to see a museum for Kreuzberg carried out in such an informative and caring way. The Kreuzberg Museum is a great way to inform the public about the area so that its history can be remembered. One neat aspect of the museum was a room with a map of Kreuzberg positioned over the entire floor. At the desk, you could ask for an Ipod and then you could walk through the room, hearing different Kreuzberg residents' stories as you "traveled" through various places in Kreuzberg.
