Wooster Campus Research Library

CFAES Wooster Campus

Located in Fisher Auditorium on the Wooster campus of the Ohio State University, the WCR Library can be accessed via the Library Patio on the north side of Fisher Auditorium. This entrance is located directly across the street from the new Wooster Science Building. The library is down the hall on the left.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

24/7 access is available for OSU graduate students, faculty, and staff with a BuckID. Registration is required. If you need a access, please contact Gwen Short or Seth Walker .

Study Carrels
Graduate students and others in the OSU-Wooster community who need personal study space can reserve a carrel. Occasional use carrels are also available.  Reservations can be requested in person between the hours of 8am – 5pm or by contacting Gwen Short.

Open and Collaborative study space and seating is also available.  With plenty of electric access!


Hot Beverage Station

Stay alert and focused with a fresh cup of hot coffee from the library’s hot beverage station. Bring your own k-cups or tea bags or use coffee, tea, or hot chocolate from the library’s supply.


Study rooms  both are open for drop in use if not occupied. Please contact library staff to reserve.

Quiet Study Room (1-2 people) A quiet, distraction free place to study? Best for 1-2 people  

Enlow Conference Room (1-8 people) shown on right. Need a space to study or practice a presentation? This room is equipped with large whiteboards, presenter’s podium, teleconferencing capabilities, and classroom seating . 

 


Public Computers & Printing
In addition to connecting you with library resources, our six public workstations offer access to specialty software including Matlab, IBM SPSS, Minitab, SAS, SigmaPlot, ArcGIS, Python, Refworks, Google Earth, and Photoshop.

Printing costs/page are as follows: $.06/B&W and $.20/color. Printing is paid for via BUCK ID. To add funds to your BUCK ID, visit  https://buckid.osu.edu/ Visitors are able to purchase $5 print cards from library staff (cash only). The printer uses the OSU Student Follow-me printing system. You can print from the public computers in the library as well as the follow me printing app from your device or laptop. There is also an option to print PDF files from a USB drive.
