About Us

The Bromfield Library & Information Commons, located on the first floor of the Conard building, serves North Central State College, The Ohio State University at Mansfield regional campus, and the local community. Our facility was renovated in 2013. Some of our major features include group study rooms with large touch screen monitors, all-in-one touch screen PC's, Macs loaded Adobe Creative Suite software, a high tech collaborative learning classroom, comfortable communal seating, and a very busy Keurig machine.

We also still have books in our library, a circulating collection of around 45,000 items. Most of these items are found in the back of the library in our stacks, which also includes oversized books, audiobooks, DVDs, and a small children's collection. In the front of the library we have newer popular fiction items--including DVDs--provided to us courtesy of the Mansfield Richland County Public Library.
