Mansfield Student Handbook: Check out to Visiting Patrons

Patrons visiting from other OhioLINK universities and SearchOhio libraries are able to borrow material from the Bromfield Library using their home library credentials. For questions about those credentials and formats, see the OhioLINK visiting patron cheat sheet below. Additionally, if patrons forget their pin numbers (some libraries use these), they can call their home library and retrieve the information.

Basic instructions are as follows: 

Go to the FUNCTION menu (upper right-hand side, highlighted in yellow below): 

Set the drop-down menu to INN-Reach - Visiting Patron Check-Out:

Next select the patron's affiliated institution from the drop down list provided (upper left-hand side of screen). If the patron's institution is not listed, they cannot check out as a visiting patron:

The system will prompt you for whatever additional information is needed (e.g. patron's library card # and/or pin #). For information about what types of information is required, see the attached document ("cheat sheet")
