Mansfield Student Handbook: Disciplinary Action

• The first level is a verbal warning.
• The second level is a letter of probation, signed and dated by the student and supervisor with a copy placed in the student’s employment file.
• The third level is termination, either immediately or at a specified time depending on the offense.

Grounds for immediate termination include, but are not limited to:

• Misuse of patron information
• Misuse of the library, including materials and equipment
• Theft or vandalism of library materials or equipment
• Falsification of a time sheet
• Repeated, unexcused absences and/or failure to notify your supervisor of absences
